I have to say the inter webs tricked me on this one. Im usually good at finding photos of real butterflies, but this one is an AI generated creature. The flowers kind of tipped me off but she was so beautiful I ignored my intuition and painted her anyhow because I found it so wonderful. Who knows maybe one day this species will be found!
Like all my art this is part of my art for good project and a percentage of the proceeds go to the Pollinator Partnership. I chose this organization for this painting as I was inspired by my friends give back project with Moth and Myth.

We work with farmers, gardeners, land managers, scientists, and industry to develop tools and programs that help keep pollinators safe from pesticides, habitat loss, climate change, and other threats.)
